Former NTV health journalist Nasibo Kabale is now in rehab and doing well, according to her mother. Nasibo had checked into rehabilitation before a video of her explaining her situation went viral. Comedian Eric Omondi visited Nasibo’s home in Jamhuri estate, Nairobi, to follow up on her case and confirmed her well-being.
In the video, Omondi clarified that Nasibo is in rehab and will be okay, dispelling rumors about her situation.
Nasibo had slipped into depression in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. She expressed her wish to return to podcasting and vlogging rather than TV, if provided with the necessary equipment.
Kenyans, including Omondi, offered to help Nasibo after a video showed her living in challenging conditions. Omondi shared on Instagram that Nasibo’s brother had flown her to rehab, and her mother requested prayers for her recovery.
