Thirty three times Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich, are set to part ways with veterans Thomas Muller and Manuel Neuer upon the expiry of their contracts in 2025.
As Bild reports, Muller and Neuer are expected to leave the Allianz Arena at the end of next season campaign, with the duo expected to hang up their boots and retire from their professional careers.
Muller, who has spent 16 years at the German club, joined the Bavarians in the summer of 2009, joining them from TSV Pahl Youth team.
The one time World cup winner since then went on to play in 427 Bundesliga matches, scoring 365 goals for the Bavarians.
This season, the German played a total of 2,180 minutes, playing 31 Bundesliga matches, nine champions league games and one DFB Pokal match.
The 34-year-old has helped Bayern to lift several titles, two champions league titles, 12 Bundesliga titles, two UEFA Super Cups, two FIFA Club world cups among others.
Neuer on the other hand, joined Bayern in the summer of 2011, joining the Bundesliga giants from FC Schalke 04.
The German shot stopper has featured in a total of 494 matches putting on the Bavarian colors.
Neuer has helped Bayern lift a series of titles, including: two champions league titles, two FIFA club world cup, 11 Bundesliga titles among many others.
