DRAMA as rogue DCI officers cornered by public in attempted abduction in Roysambu

Tension erupted in Roysambu estate along Thika Road when two individuals believed to be DCI officers were confronted by local residents while trying to abduct a young man.

Footage circulating on social media shows plain-clothed officers attempting to force the man into a private vehicle, leading to a confrontation.

Equipped with handcuffs and walkie-talkies, the officers were quickly surrounded by vigilant citizens who intervened, ultimately rescuing the victim from the kidnapping attempt and leaving the officers embarrassed.

Faced with mounting pressure, the officers abandoned their covert operation and fled the scene before matters escalated.
