A horrific traffic accident has claimed at least two lives and left another person seriously injured on the Nairobi-Kangundo Road in Matungulu, Machakos County.
Tragedy Strikes as High-Speed Motorcycle Crashes into Car!
Witnesses who rushed to the scene on Tuesday morning reported that the victims were riding a speeding motorcycle when it suddenly collided with a private vehicle traveling in the same direction.
Police confirm that the crash involved two passengers and the motorcyclist. Tragically, both the motorcycle rider and one passenger died instantly, while another passenger was left severely injured.

Shocking footage obtained by Wamuzinews shows the Toyota Voxy on its side, badly damaged, with the motorcycle sprawled across the roadside.
Matungulu Police were quick to respond, securing the scene and beginning their investigation. The bodies of the deceased were rushed to Kangundo Level 4 Hospital for identification and an autopsy, while both the car and motorcycle were towed to Tala Police Station.

A local eyewitness revealed that the motorcyclists were racing down the busy highway when one of them lost control, smashing into the oncoming car.
“The motorcycle was going way too fast… it lost control and hit the vehicle,” the witness recounted.
