Daylight Abduction in Rongai Raises Alarms

An unidentified man was filmed being abducted in Rongai by suspected state agents in broad daylight, as onlookers watched in helplessness.

This incident, which occurred less than two weeks after President William Ruto pledged to put an end to such abductions in the country, has raised significant concerns.

The victim, a middle-aged man, was intercepted by plainclothes individuals believed to be state agents and forcibly taken into a private vehicle with the registration number KCS 079K.

The abduction took place on a busy road in Rongai, where bystanders witnessed the victim pleading for help without intervening.

This video emerges amid a surge in abduction cases nationwide.

Recent disappearances have predominantly involved young men who have critiqued Ruto online, prompting rights organizations to dismiss police denials of involvement and demand accountability.
