A woman named Liz Kawela has filed a report against popular comedian Oga Obinna at Gigiri Station, accusing him of stealing Ksh 2. 5 million and her Range Rover (KDP) and then vanishing.
Liz mentioned that she had been in a romantic relationship with Obinna for one year.
Throughout this period, they cohabited at her residence in Kitisuru.
She also permitted Obinna’s four children to live with them.
“Obinna came to live in my home with his kids. He is a swindler and needs to be exposed,” Liz stated.
She informed the police that while they were having lunch at a hotel in Kiserian, Obinna dispatched his personal assistant and some men to her home.
They took cash, bedding, and other possessions valued at Ksh 2. 5 million.
The men also seized her house help’s phones to prevent them from contacting her.
Liz asserted that she has been financially supporting Obinna.
She mentioned that the vehicles he uses are her property.
The police apprehended Obinna’s assistant and the men, but they were subsequently released on bond.
They are awaiting their court appearance.
Obinna has been instructed to visit Gigiri Police Station to respond to the accusations.
