Inject party leader and political activist Morara Kebaso has clarified on being accused by many people of being a state project.
Speaking on Nation fm,Morara said that this is a tag usually placed on persons emerging in the political circle in the country and that it’s the strategy used to invalidate young people so that they don’t get people’s support.
“The current government knows that the needed change can be brought by the young and hence resort to the project narrative to discredit them,”the activist said.
“This thing about projects is about invalidating the youth and the reason there is that push is to ensure that they don’t gather the support. One thing with the opposition and the government they know that the youth are dangerous and when given space they will overhaul the system,”Morara added.
He also said that everybody has been called a project.I don’t know whether there is an upcoming leader who has not been called a project.Maraga was also called a man of great honour and discipline project.
Morara noted that he has never been to state house or even attending a national event. The last time I saw William Ruto was in 2018 when he served as the Deputy President.
The activist is one of the young people who have been vocal against the Kenya Kwanza administration and calling on the youths to unite to form the next government.
