HORROR IN NYAMIRA: University Student Beaten to Death by His Own Uncles in Brutal ‘Discipline’ Gone Wrong!

A chilling case has sent shockwaves through Nyamira after a 22-year-old Chuka University student was tortured to death by his own uncles in Nyankono village, North Mugirango Constituency.

The young man, identified as Brian Mogaka, had reportedly been suspended from university over allegations of marijuana use. In a shocking twist, his own mother, Teresa Mogaka, allegedly sought help from her brothers to “discipline” him—but what followed was pure horror.

The uncles mercilessly tied Mogaka’s hands and legs before unleashing a ruthless beating, caning him repeatedly until his body gave out. Instead of seeking medical help, they staged a cover-up—changing his clothes, laying him on a bed, and planting cattle pesticide nearby to make it look like a suicide. Then, they vanished without a trace.

Police officers from Ekerenyo, along with investigators, arrived at the crime scene on Tuesday night and transported the lifeless body to Nyamira Teaching and Referral Hospital.

Ikonge Assistant Chief Joseph Masese confirmed the grim details, stating that Mogaka’s body bore multiple bruises and injuries consistent with a severe beating.

Authorities are now hunting down the fugitive uncles as the community reels in shock over the gruesome act.
