KTN News has officially closed its doors and merged with its parent station, KTN Home. 

The merger is part of a larger restructuring effort by the Standard Group, which owns both stations. The move is expected to streamline operations and reduce costs, allowing the company to focus on its core business.

The merger will see KTN Home absorb the news programming and staff from KTN News, with the latter ceasing operations immediately.

The new combined station will continue to provide a mix of news, entertainment, and lifestyle programming.
