Wiper Party Exposes Fake Claims of Joining Ruto’s Government!

Wiper Party Dismisses Claims of Joining Ruto’s Government, Calls Viral Post Fake

The Wiper Democratic Movement, led by Kalonzo Musyoka, has strongly denied reports suggesting it plans to align with President William Ruto’s administration.

In a statement released on Wednesday morning, the party dismissed a widely circulated social media post that claimed its former Deputy Leader and Daadab MP, Farah Maalim, had pushed for Wiper’s inclusion in government.

The disputed post alleged that Maalim, who was recently expelled from the party for breaching its regulations, had raised concerns about Wiper’s continued role in the opposition. It further claimed that the recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between President Ruto and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga had created uncertainty about Wiper’s future.

According to the fake post, key decisions affecting the opposition had been made without consulting Wiper, leaving the party in a vulnerable position. It suggested that Wiper should consider other political options if the opposition space continued to shrink.

The false statement also implied that Wiper was open to discussions with Ruto’s administration to secure a better political future.

However, Wiper has outrightly rejected these claims, emphasizing that Maalim is no longer part of the party following his expulsion for making offensive remarks about Kenyans.

“For the record, Farah Maalim, who previously served as Wiper’s deputy leader, was expelled for violating party rules, disrespecting the Constitution, and making derogatory comments about Kenyan citizens,” Kalonzo clarified.

His response came after Kenyans accused him of allegedly planning to join Ruto’s administration, just days after Raila Odinga’s ODM party made a political deal with the government.

This comes in the wake of Kalonzo’s recent criticism of Raila’s agreement with Ruto, which he termed a betrayal of the Kenyan people.

Speaking at the People’s Dialogue Festival in Nairobi on March 7, the former Vice President urged the youth to reject the deal, arguing that it served personal political interests rather than the public good.

“If there’s no clear plan at KICC to compensate Kenyans who suffered due to police brutality, then this so-called agreement is nothing but betrayal,” Kalonzo declared.
