State House Announces Public Auction of Vehicles; How to Bid.

The Executive Office of the President, State House, has announced the sale of motor vehicles and other motor vehicle accessories through public auction.

In a notice dated Tuesday, May 28, State House disclosed that the auction will be held on June 14 at the State Department for Roads in Ruiru, starting at 10:00 a.m.

“The Executive Office of the President State House intends to sell by public auction unserviceable motor vehicles, tyres, car batteries and rims and assorted items.

The Auction will take place on 14th June 2024 starting at 10:00 am at State Department for Roads, Ruiru,” read part of the notice by State House.Potential bidders were required to pay a refundable deposit of Ksh50,000 through cash at the Office of the President in Nairobi during normal working hours.

They were also required to visit the Public Procurement Information Portal (www.tenders.go.ke) and the Office of the President website (www.president.go.ke) for more details about the auction.

“Interested bidders may obtain further information by visiting www.tenders. go.ke and www.president.go.ke to download a catalogue containing details of venue, items to be auctioned, conditions of sale, and date of viewing,” State House stated.

Astorion Auctioneers was appointed as the lead auctioneer.

State House further intimated that more information on the auction can be sought by contacting Astorion Auctioneers through telephone numbers 0720797118 and 0721963927 or by writing to P.O. BOX 33340- 00600, Nairobi.

Prospective bidders can also reach the Comptroller of State Houses via mobile number 07202441261 or through P.O. BOX 40530-00100, Nairobi, for more information.
