Shock as MPs Push Ruto to Strike Deal with Kalonzo in Game-Changing Political Twist!

Leaders from both the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) are rallying for Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to be included in the recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between their parties.

During a Sunday meeting with President William Ruto, MPs Sam Atandi (Alego Usonga) and Oscar Sudi (Kapseret) emphasized that Kalonzo’s inclusion would further strengthen the unity objectives set out in the agreement.

Atandi, who witnessed the signing of the MoU between Ruto and Raila Odinga, highlighted the need to bring all key political figures on board. “I reflected on the essence of that document and saw its goal of fostering Kenya’s political and economic stability. We must ensure no one is left out,” he stated.

The MP dismissed claims that Ruto’s political engagement was selective, urging the President to consider Kalonzo as part of the broader national agenda. He also hinted at the possibility of making the 2027 elections more of a consensus-driven process rather than a fierce contest.

Echoing these sentiments, Sudi underscored the importance of national unity and inclusivity, arguing that tribal politics should no longer define the country’s leadership. “Mr. President, your recent move was historic in uniting Kenyans. Kalonzo should also be engaged—this country belongs to all of us,” he remarked.

The push for Kalonzo’s inclusion follows the landmark agreement between Ruto and Odinga at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), where they pledged to uphold the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) report, tackle youth unemployment, and enforce the two-thirds gender rule.

Both leaders also committed to fostering inclusivity in public appointments, ensuring that all Kenyans, regardless of political affiliation or religion, are represented in governance.
