RUTO Defends PhD, Dismisses Critics as Uneducated

Reactions as RUTO boasts about his PhD and labels critics as ‘poorly educated individuals unable to teach him anything’

President William Ruto has responded to critics of his government, asserting that as a PhD holder, he truly ‘understands the situation in Kenya. ’

While speaking to a crowd during the inauguration of the Garissa Immigration Center on Thursday, an irate Ruto referred to his critics as ‘individuals with minimal education who cannot offer him any lessons. ’

“When I see those who are complaining, I question their educational background.

“I hold a PhD; I grasp what is occurring in Kenya. Those with little education are attempting to instruct me.

“What exactly do you think you can teach me? ” he inquired.

Ruto received his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Plant Ecology from the University of Nairobi (UoN) in 2018.

He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Botany and Zoology and a Master’s degree in Plant Ecology from the same university.
