Ruto Criticizes Gachagua and tells Reasons for Impeachment

President William Ruto criticized former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, labeling him as incompetent, corrupt, tribal, and lazy, and explained the reasons for his impeachment.

While addressing a gathering in Luanda, Vihiga County, Ruto asserted that Gachagua’s failure to fulfill his responsibilities led to his removal from office.

Ruto further accused Gachagua of conducting divisive and detrimental schemes that fell apart after his impeachment.

He emphasized that the nation has no tolerance for individuals who are corrupt, incompetent, and promote tribalism.

Ruto reiterated the commitment to national unity, stating, “We are united as a people, and Kenya will progress as one indivisible country. ” These comments follow Gachagua’s assertion that Ruto influenced his public speeches.
