Nairobi County Shuts Down Quiver Lounge in Kilimani.

Residents of Kilimani were relieved. Nairobi City County officials closed Quiver Steak House due to noise pollution. This followed complaints from residents about loud music disrupting their sleep. The club management ignored requests to lower the noise, leading to the closure by Chief Officer of Environment Geoffrey Mosiria. Despite a notice to soundproof the club being ignored, the closure was peaceful as clients complied with the order.

President William Ruto reportedly issued the order to close the club before leaving for Nyeri. He emphasized the importance of addressing noise pollution concerns. The closure was necessary to protect residents’ right to peaceful sleep, as the club had repeatedly disregarded soundproofing requests.
