Kindiki Vows Unwavering Support for Ruto’s Agenda

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has reaffirmed his dedication to assisting President William Ruto in the effective realization of the government’s transformative agenda.

He reminded Ruto’s detractors that the President has a defined strategy, dedicating each day in office to fulfilling the promises made to the Kenyan populace during the campaign.

“Delivering all the commitments made in 2022 is a work in progress. Ruto’s five-year term should not be judged solely on the first two years,” he stated.

“To those criticizing him, I remind you that you cannot evaluate a five-year term within just two years. ”

The Deputy President also took the opportunity to emphasize significant government initiatives, including road development, affordable housing, rural electrification, and youth job creation.

He mentioned that approximately 76,000 new teachers have been hired, exceeding initial targets, with additional international opportunities for Kenyan educators being pursued.

“We are addressing the unemployment issue from multiple fronts,” Kindiki noted.

He observed that opposition to the President’s transformative initiatives comes from individuals benefiting from the existing system.

“When we provide dignified housing, medical insurance, and other programs, those profiting from the previous system resist change. However, we are committed to making a difference,” he emphasized.

Expressing unwavering support for Ruto’s mission, Kindiki stated, “Failure is not an option. We are just beginning, and our interaction with grassroots communities will demonstrate this. ”

The meeting held at the Deputy President’s residence in Karen included professionals, economic sector stakeholders, and grassroots leaders from Kiambu County, led by National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah.

Priority development projects and the implementation of national government programs were discussed.
