Jay Z Faces Rape Allegation in Diddy Lawsuit

American rapper Jay Z has denied the accusations that he and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs raped a 13-year-old girl in 2000, as mentioned in the revised lawsuit against Diddy.

The woman, referred to as ‘Jane Doe’ in the lawsuit, stated that she was just 13 years old when Diddy and Jay Z allegedly attacked her at an after-party following the Video Music Awards in 2000.

As per her lawsuit, she claimed that after consuming a drink at the party, she began to feel disoriented and entered a nearby bedroom, stating that Jay Z assaulted her first, followed by Diddy. The woman also alleged that she struck Diddy and managed to escape the party.

Following the public disclosure of the reports, Jay-Z’s label, Roc Nation, released a comprehensive statement on X.

Criticizing the attorney behind the lawsuit, the statement declared, “My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, referred to as a demand letter, from a ‘lawyer’ named Tony Buzbee. What he miscalculated was that the nature of these allegations and the resulting public attention would compel me to settle. No sir, it had the contrary effect! It motivated me to unveil you for the fraud you are,”

“These accusations are so egregious that I urge you to pursue a criminal complaint rather than a civil one! ! Anyone who would commit such an act against a child deserves imprisonment, do you not concur? These supposed victims would merit true justice if that were the case,” Jay Z stated.

In his remarks to CNN, he expressed, “My wife and I will need to have a conversation with our children, one of whom is at an age where her friends will undoubtedly notice the media coverage and inquire about these allegations, and clarify the malice and avarice of individuals. I grieve yet another loss of innocence. Children should not be subjected to this at such a tender age. “

This revised lawsuit arrives shortly after the original one filed against Diddy, who was apprehended for sex trafficking, sexual assault, racketeering, and other offenses on Monday, September 17, 2024. He has denied all accusations, and his criminal trial is currently scheduled to commence on May 5, 2025.
