Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has sent shockwaves across the nation after unleashing a fiery, no-holds-barred statement live on Sulwe FM. In a fearless outburst, the bold governor declared he is ready to die for speaking the truth and holding the Kenya Kwanza administration to account.
“I know they may come for me. I know my life is on the line. But even if President Ruto decides to take me out today—I don’t care! I will not stop speaking the truth!” Natembeya thundered, his words sparking nationwide alarm and support in equal measure.
The governor claimed shadowy operatives have been trailing him, allegedly sent to incite communities and silence his voice for refusing to applaud the government blindly. According to Natembeya, being vocal in Kenya today is a dangerous game — especially if you’re not singing praises to those in power.

“This country is headed the wrong way,” he warned. “They are targeting those who won’t kneel and clap. But I will never be silenced, even if they send assassins.”
Natembeya’s explosive accusations include forced disappearances, political intimidation, and systemic suppression of dissent — especially in the Western region. He’s accused some top leaders of orchestrating a campaign of fear and tribal division to quash opposing voices.
In a swift response, Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei didn’t hold back, threatening the governor with impeachment within six months for what he called “toxic tribal rhetoric.”
As tensions rise, Kenyans are left in shock, watching a dramatic political showdown unfold. Will Natembeya survive this storm? Or has he just lit a match that could explode into something far bigger?
