Four workers died in Shauri Moyo Estate, Nairobi, after a sewer line they were constructing collapsed. Only three workers survived the incident. Rescue teams managed to save them after an alarm was raised about seven people trapped in the rubble.

The National Police Service spokesperson confirmed the deaths and the successful rescue of the three survivors. Rescuers from the county government and the Kenya Red Cross responded promptly to the scene. They transported the survivors to Mama Lucy Hospital.

The joint effort involved the Nairobi City County Fire Brigade, NMS Ambulance, Kenya Red Cross, and Kenya Police. The incident occurred while the workers were excavating the sewerage line, resulting in the tragic loss of four lives.
