‘BLOOD PARLIAMENT ‘Film makers police accuse of role BBC released

Four film makers who were reported to be arrested because of the production of Blood Parliament documentary in BBC have been released today on May 3,2025 following the public cry.

On Friday while at their studio in Karen, Nairobi.Nicholas Wambugu, Markdenver Karubiu,Brian Adagala and Chris Wamae were arrested and detained at Muthaiga and Pangani police stations.

The arrest raised alarm leading to many questioning the grounds for their detention.

Mutiso said that they were accused of publishing false information but the truth of the matter in hand is yet to be known,but also according to the situation it seems that the four film makers are being targeted in connection with the airing of Blood Parliament by BBC.

Moreover,he added “At the moment we don’t have enough reasons as to why their offices were raised and their gadgets confiscated,but we are following up with the DCI.”

Mutiso noted that it was unfair of the police to act in the absence of the legal counsel in this era.
