Hundreds of invitees from diverse backgrounds gathered at State House on Thursday for a luncheon following President William Ruto’s leadership of the sparsely attended Jamhuri Day celebration at Uhuru Gardens.

A significant amount of taxpayer funds was allocated for the elaborate meal prepared for the attendees.
