Saka Reflects on Missing Former Teammates.

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has expressed his feelings of missing three former teammates. He misses Emile Smith Rowe, Eddie Nketiah, and Reiss Nelson. He shared these sentiments during an appearance on the Men in Blazers podcast. He highlighted the close bond they shared as Hale End Academy graduates.

Saka described Smith Rowe, Nketiah, and Nelson as his “big brothers” who welcomed him into the first team. Their departures from Arsenal were particularly difficult for him.

Smith Rowe recently transferred to Fulham for a club-record fee of £27 million after making 80 appearances for Arsenal. Nketiah completed a £30 million move to Crystal Palace on transfer deadline day.

He spent nearly a decade at Arsenal. He scored 38 goals there. Nelson, who played 24 games for Arsenal last season, also joined Smith Rowe at Fulham on a season-long loan. Despite their departures, Saka remains optimistic about their futures in the Premier League.

Saka conveyed his happiness for his former teammates, acknowledging their talent and potential to excel in their new clubs. He believes that all three players have the quality necessary to make a significant impact in the league this season.

His supportive remarks show a strong camaraderie and respect for their abilities. He respects their abilities even as they pursue their careers away from Arsenal.

Overall, Saka’s comments illustrate the emotional connections formed within a team and the challenges of watching friends move on. He believes in the skills of Smith Rowe, Nketiah, and Nelson. He hopes they will thrive in their new environments.
