Healthcare Crisis: SHA System Failures at Local Hospital

Healthcare Crisis: A Woman’s Tearful Protest Highlights SHA System Failures in Local Hospital

A local hospital witnessed heightened tension as an ailing woman protested, expressing her anguish over the failing Social Health Authority (SHA) systems.

Reports indicate that the malfunctioning systems prevented her from receiving essential medical care.

In a heartbreaking video, the woman is seen crying out as other frustrated patients look on.

“I want to die because of this hospital. I hate this hospital,” she shouted.

On Thursday, the Ministry of Health recognized and apologized for the SHA system failures that have disrupted healthcare services nationwide.

During an unplanned visit to Kenyatta National Hospital, Health Cabinet Secretary Deborah Barasa remarked that such interruptions, while unfortunate, are not uncommon globally.

“The incidents occurred on January 14th and 15th, temporarily disrupting services like patient clearance and billing,” she clarified, assuring, “To our patients, we sincerely apologize for the disruption.

Your well-being is our priority, and we are diligently working to ensure consistent, high-quality healthcare. ”
