Politics Gachagua’s Wamunyoro Residence Hosts Key Leaders – Ruto Should Be Concerned!
Tuesday, January 21, 2025 – Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has converted his rural home in Wamunyoro, Nyeri, into a gathering place where national leaders convene.
Following his impeachment in October, Gachagua has been holding meetings at his residence to establish a powerful coalition aimed at unseating President William Ruto in the 2027 presidential election.
On Monday, Gachagua welcomed Maasai community leaders to his home.
In a statement shared on his official X and Facebook accounts, the former DP noted that the discussions addressed the challenges facing the Maasai community and the nation as a whole.
“We will advance towards a better and more equitable Kenya as a united people. I remain committed to listening to and engaging all stakeholders and opinion leaders on what our nation needs, particularly during this critical time of economic, social, and political challenges,” Gachagua stated.
“Today at my Wamunyoro residence, I spent the entire day with Maa leaders from Kajiado and Narok counties. “
