Father Arrested for Fatally Stabbing Son in Nandi Village.

A 48-year-old man was arrested for stabbing and killing his 24-year-old son in Mosobecho village, Nandi county.

The son succumbed to his injuries at Kapsabet Referral Hospital. He was fatally stabbed in the chest during a physical altercation with his father.

The confrontation led to severe bleeding from the stab wound.

Authorities were alerted to the incident, and the father was later arrested. He is set to face murder charges and undergo mental tests.

The victim’s body was preserved at the local mortuary pending autopsy. Such incidents have been increasing in Nandi area, emphasizing the need for peaceful conflict resolution.

In a separate incident in Kasarani, Kano Njoroge died by suicide. He stabbed himself in the thigh with a kitchen knife. He had been drinking with friends before the tragic event.

The motive behind the suicide remains unknown, and investigations are ongoing. The body was taken to the mortuary for further examination.

The rise in violent incidents underscores the importance of addressing conflicts peacefully. The police are actively investigating these cases.

They want to make sure justice is served. They also aim to prevent similar tragedies from occurring in the future.
