Chiki responds after Bien revealed his crushes on two singers.

Digital content creator, choreographer, and manager of Bien Baraza, Chiki Kuruka, has addressed the online critics trying to cause a rift between her and her husband following a viral video of him discussing his celebrity crushes.

Chiki’s husband, singer, and producer Bien, went viral after naming Nigerian artist Tems and Jamaican dancehall artist Shenseea as his prominent female crushes.

In response, many netizens expressed their belief that his comments were disrespectful to his wife of three years. Comments on her Instagram page included, “Welcome to Kenya where you find your perfect match while you’re already married,” “He doesn’t want to be kept, don’t keep him,” and “Men are embarrassing aahh.”

Chiki shared a post on her Instagram stories, stating she saw nothing wrong with her husband’s comments and praised the two female artists as queens. “Do not blame him, 2 absolute queens!” she wrote, adding several laughing emojis.

She further criticized netizens for taking things too seriously and believing everything they see on social media, ending her post with, “Wueh some people take life too seriously.”

During an interview with Obinna TV, Bien humorously shared that he had multiple celebrity crushes, mentioning that if Tems or Shenseea ever messaged him, he would discuss it with his wife.
